Holiday experiences • October 7, 2026
Cape May's holiday appeal is more than a single stop. Historic surroundings, seasonal house tours and time with your group can make the trip feel like a short getaway. The first planning decision is how much time you want there: one day, one overnight or a full weekend.
Start with your main activity
Cape May MAC offers Christmas Candlelight House Tours and other seasonal tours. Check the current organizer calendar and admission details before building your itinerary around one. Tours may differ in timing, walking requirements and availability; a destination visit does not automatically include admission to every attraction.
Compare the three formats
- Day trip: concentrates transportation, a meal and the main holiday activity into one outing. Consider the late return when choosing an evening tour.
- One overnight: can leave more room for dinner and a relaxed morning, with lodging and room arrangements confirmed in advance.
- Weekend: offers space for additional touring and free time, but requires a clearer lodging, meal and activity budget.
Our proposed December options
Legacy Wise Experiences is planning around a December 12, 2026 candlelight day trip, a December 12–13 overnight, and a December 11–13 weekend. These are proposed Legacy Wise planning dates. Final transportation, tour admissions, lodging, availability and pricing require confirmation before payment. Sharing your preference is an inquiry, not a confirmed reservation.
Tell us what matters to your group
Let us know your preferred format, traveler count, room needs, pickup area and mobility considerations. Include the activities you most want and the budget range you are comfortable discussing. That helps us build a coordinated experience your group can actually enjoy.
