Saturday, November 21, 2026 — Holiday Kickoff Weekend at Peddler's Village

One motorcoach, one easy day. We start with a light stop in New Hope — a stroll down Main Street and the Ferry Market — then spend the afternoon at Peddler's Village on its Holiday Kickoff Weekend: the Gingerbread Competition & Display, more than 60 shops, and Giggleberry Fair for the kids. As the sun goes down (4:38 PM that day), the Village's million holiday lights come on — that's the moment the whole trip is built around. Admission and parking at Peddler's Village are free, and we handle the driving, the route, and the day.

First 20 paid seats: $60 adult (13+) / $50 child (12 & under) — plus free Priority Boarding: Boarding Group 1, called first at check-in, with first pick of seats including the front rows.
Seats 21–49: $65 adult (13+) / $55 child (12 & under), general boarding (Group 2).

Groups of 6+ booked together: $55 flat per guest — use code GROUP55 when you book.

Your seat is reserved when your payment is received — not before. The booking form shows the rate currently in effect.

SIBC members ride for $50 flat per guest with the private member code distributed by member email and meeting flyer. It is never published online, replaces the tier price for that booking, and cannot be combined with anything else.

Two stops, one glowing day

New Hope, late morning. A storybook river town dressed for the season: decorated Main Street running along the Delaware River, lined with boutiques and galleries. Warm up inside the Ferry Market, the town's food hall — 13 vendors under one roof, with river views — grab cocoa or a lunch bite, and take a few quiet minutes on the canal towpath before we roll on.

Peddler's Village, all afternoon into the dark. A 42-acre village of winding brick paths and more than 60 shops, all decked out for Holiday Kickoff Weekend. Start with the Gingerbread Competition & Display — more than 100 entries, from candy cottages to full gingerbread landmarks — then wander the shops while carolers and strolling performers keep the season going, and let the kids loose at Giggleberry Fair. Dinner is on your own among the Village's restaurants whenever your crew gets hungry. Then, as the sky goes dark (sunset is 4:38 PM that day), one million lights switch the whole Village on — rooftops, trees, and pathways glowing — and we're right there in the middle of it before the ride home.

What's included — and what isn't

Included: round-trip motorcoach transportation from Staten Island or Woodbridge, NJ, a hosted and escorted day, the New Hope stop, and the Peddler's Village afternoon through the lights at dusk. Admission at both stops is free.

Not included: food and drinks (plenty of choices at the Ferry Market in New Hope and the restaurants and eateries in Peddler's Village — all on your own, at your own pace), Santa photos, Giggleberry Fair activities, Children's Museum admission, and any shopping.

The only optional extra is Tour Protection — $7.50 per traveler, described below. Otherwise, this is transportation only — that's exactly why the price is what it is.

Your seat is reserved when payment is received. Stripe emails your payment receipt, and your booking confirmation carries the itinerary, check-in details, and the boarding group for your seats.
If this trip doesn't run: our decision date is Friday, November 6, 2026. If we don't reach the riders we need, we'll tell you that day — and the choice is yours: (1) a full refund of everything you paid, fare and Tour Protection fee, back to your original payment method; or (2) move your full payment to a rescheduled date and keep your seats and the price you paid — or apply the full amount to any other Legacy Wise Experience. If we don't hear from you within 7 days of our notice, we refund you in full automatically. You're never left holding a credit you didn't choose.

Tour Protection — $7.50 per traveler (optional)

Plans change. Add Tour Protection when you book and you can cancel for any reason up to 48 hours before departure — by 10:15 AM on Thursday, November 19, 2026 — and receive a full refund of the fare you paid to Legacy Wise: your choice of cash back, or a Legacy Wise Future Experience Credit with a 10% bonus. Tour Protection can only be added at the time of booking, is charged per traveler, and the $7.50 fee is non-refundable — except if Legacy Wise cancels this trip, in which case the fee is refunded too. Without Tour Protection, the standard cancellation terms below apply. Tour Protection is a cancellation waiver offered by Legacy Wise Experiences. It is not an insurance policy, and it covers only amounts paid to Legacy Wise for this trip.

Tour Protection — full terms

Tour Protection is an optional cancellation waiver offered by Legacy Wise Experiences for this trip. It is not an insurance policy, and it is not insurance of any kind.
The fee is $7.50 per traveler, the same for adults and children, in both price tiers. It can only be purchased at the time of booking — it cannot be added, changed, or removed afterward — and it covers only the travelers it is purchased for.
With Tour Protection, you may cancel a covered traveler's seat for any reason — no documentation, no questions — by notifying us before 10:15 AM on Thursday, November 19, 2026 (48 hours before departure). You will receive a full refund of the fare paid to Legacy Wise for that traveler, your choice of: (a) cash refund to your original payment method, processed within 10 business days; or (b) a Legacy Wise Future Experience Credit for the full fare plus a 10% bonus, issued within 1 business day.
The $7.50 fee is non-refundable — with one exception: if Legacy Wise cancels this trip (including if the trip does not run), the fee is refunded in full along with your fare, automatically — or, if you choose to move your payment to a rescheduled date instead, your Tour Protection carries with your booking to the new date.
Tour Protection covers only amounts paid to Legacy Wise for this trip (the fare). It does not cover anything paid to anyone else — meals, shopping, admissions, photos, or any other expense. This trip includes no event tickets, so a protected refund is your full fare.
To cancel, call (929) 515-5159 or reply to your booking confirmation email. The time of your call or email is what counts against the deadline.
A cancellation received after the 48-hour deadline, and a no-show on the day of the trip, are not covered by Tour Protection; the standard cancellation terms apply instead.
Instead of cancelling, any seat — protected or not — may be transferred to another guest at no charge at any time before departure; just tell us the new name. Tour Protection purchased for that seat stays with the seat.
Protection applies per traveler: if part of a party cancels, only the protected travelers who cancel receive the protected refund; the rest of the booking is governed by the standard terms.

Standard cancellation terms (without Tour Protection): 30+ days before departure, full refund less $25 per person; 8–29 days, 50% refund; inside 7 days, no cash refund and 50% of the fare converts to Future Experience Credit. Seats are transferable to another guest at no charge at any time before departure.

Pickup points

Eltingville Transit Center Park & Ride — rear lot, 90 Wainwright Ave, Staten Island, NY 10312 (behind the bus station, off the end of the Korean War Veterans Parkway). Check-in opens 10:00 AM; the coach departs 10:15 AM.
Woodbridge Center — Macy's entrance facing Route 9 (the Jewelry Exchange end of the mall), 250 Woodbridge Center Dr, Woodbridge, NJ 07095. Check-in opens 10:25 AM; pickup 10:35 AM.

Eltingville guest parking is in the same Park & Ride complex. Full check-in instructions come with your trip message before departure.

Good to know for families

A light day, on purpose: one short stop, one main destination, no add-ons and no rushing — built so kids aren't worn out before the lights come on.
Back by about 7:55 PM — a full holiday day that still ends at a reasonable hour.
Dress warm for the evening — the lights are best after dark, and you'll want to be outside for them.

Questions, answered

Is admission really free? Yes — Peddler's Village admission and parking are always free, and New Hope is a town, not a ticketed attraction. Your fare is the motorcoach, the escort, and the plan.

What if the trip doesn't fill? We decide by Friday, November 6, 2026. If it doesn't run, you choose: a full refund of everything you paid — or move your full payment to a rescheduled date at the price you paid, or to any other Legacy Wise Experience. Don't choose within 7 days and the full refund goes back automatically.

What if I can't go? Any seat can be transferred to another guest at no charge before departure. With Tour Protection, you can cancel for any reason up to 48 hours before departure for a full fare refund. Without it, the standard cancellation terms above apply.

What about weather? The trip runs in typical late-November weather — dress in warm layers. If severe weather ever forces a cancellation by Legacy Wise, payments are refunded in full.

If a booked guest cancels, waitlist names are contacted first — in the order they joined.
