We work for the buyer, never the seller. Tell us the vehicle — or send us the one you found — and we handle the shopping, the numbers and the negotiation. You approve every figure before anything moves, and you pay the dealer or seller directly. We never touch your purchase money.
2. Financing first
Before we negotiate, you get your own pre-approval from your bank or credit union, or verify cash. We never take credit applications or handle your financing — your approved rate becomes the floor the dealer has to beat.
3. We source & negotiate
We work dealers and sellers against each other on price, incentives, fees and terms — and bring you real out-the-door numbers, itemized, to approve.
4. Delivery & our fee
You pay the dealer or seller directly — deposit, balance, tax and registration. Our flat fee is due at delivery, only when your deal closes.
What we source & negotiate
New cars, trucks, SUVs & vans — purchase or lease, in stock, dealer transfer or factory order, through franchised dealers. Used cars — negotiation only: you find the exact vehicle and send us the listing and VIN; we value it, negotiate it, and coordinate the history report and inspection. We do not search for used cars. Boats — new or used. RVs & trailers — travel trailers, fifth wheels and utility, cargo, boat and equipment trailers, new or used; self-propelled motorhomes are handled under the automobile rules above. Powersports — ATVs, snowmobiles and personal watercraft; side-by-sides and UTVs. Motorized equipment & machinery — purchase or lease. Commercial fleets — 3 or more units, purchase or lease. Aircraft — describe your need; all inquiries are subject to internal review and no sourcing is offered at this time.
Flat fees — purchase
Cars, trucks, SUVs: $595 standard (up to $50k) · $895 premium ($50k–$100k) · $1,295 luxury & exotic ($100k+). Boats: $1,500 flat under $100k · 2% ($2,500 min) $100k–$500k · 1.5% ($7,500 min) over $500k. RVs: $750 flat under $75k · $1,250 flat $75k–$150k · 1.5% ($1,500 min) over $150k. ATV / snowmobile / personal watercraft: $295 per unit. Side-by-side / UTV: $495 per unit. Motorized equipment & machinery: 3% of purchase price ($750 minimum).
Flat fees — lease
Cars, trucks, SUVs: $495 standard (up to $50k) · $695 premium ($50k–$100k) · $995 luxury & exotic ($100k+). Equipment & machinery: 3% of total lease payments over the term ($750 minimum). Lease-end buyouts use the purchase schedule.
Fleet pricing (3+ units)
Purchase, per vehicle: $495 (3–4 units) · $395 (5–10) · $295 (11–25) · custom quote (25+). Lease, per vehicle: $395 (3–4 units) · $295 (5–10) · $225 (11–25) · custom quote (25+). Under 3 units: standard per-vehicle pricing — no discount, nothing turned away.
Or pay on savings
Prefer performance-based? For automobiles, choose 25% of documented savings below market instead of the flat fee — you pick flat or savings-share at engagement, locked in writing in your broker agreement.
How we are compensated
Our fee is due at closing/delivery — no advance retainer, ever. If no deal closes, no fee. We work for you: no dealer kickbacks, ever. Any third-party compensation that arises is disclosed in your agreement and credited against your fee. Where seller-side co-brokerage compensates us (boats), your fee is reduced dollar-for-dollar — you never pay twice.
Why bonded matters
Legacy Wise Advisors, Inc. carries a $100,000 NY surety bond for automobile brokering. Most “car finders” carry nothing. If they won’t show you a bond, they aren’t a broker.
